Cromane Community Council and the Community bringing the Biddy back to Cromane! A huge thank you to Biddy Hat Maker Flor O Sullivan for showing us how to make biddy hats.  Cromane Biddy’s group went out on the Biddy on Friday night in the locality and then joined the Biddy parade in Killorglin the next day for the first time in many years.

The annual Killorglin parade is supported by Biddies from the local area, and together they form a parade starting at the Fishery and finishing at the CYMS hall, where each group performs on stage to entertain the audience. Although Cromane has not had a Biddy’s group in many years, it was decided to revive the old tradition and get out and about on the Biddy once again! Thanks to everyone who got involved and we will get back in to Biddy training again for next year!

Thanks to ‘Dave’s Photos Cromane’, for taking photos, and although carrying his copyright are for free distribution, and tagging of yourselves in the photos!
